With every passing day debates on the Congestion Charge, and the recent applying closure of the Mill Road bridge, highlight the obviously political nature of these issues. Yesterday, all 8 Lib Dem and Labour councillors voted to close the bridge while all 7 Conservatives voted to keep it open.
