Conservatives condemn £16,000 gaffe by City Council
Conservative campaigner Andy Bower has led criticism of the Lib Dem-run City Council after it was forced to take itself to court to correct a planning error. The legal action cost taxpayers £16,000.

Published this morning in the Cambridge News: Reports of the death of Conservatism in the City have been greatly exaggerated (Feature, September 18). Cambridge is naturally conservative, and returned a Conservative MP at every General Election from 1950 to 1990.
